SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE
Sydney Opera House is a school project that I did in my year of graduation. It symbolises an overstatement of my architectural influences that I wanted to be obvious on this project. That’s why I choose to be as close as possible to the original design. I wanted to make it as a tribute to the lines that lead the construction of a shoes like they are leading the construction of a building. In my opinion shoes and especially heels are more related to objects or buildings regarding the way we think about designing them.

DETAILS
The goal on this shoe was to give the best render of what could look like an architecture turn into a shoe. The wedge is made with a metal mesh (micro grating), and the shells that recover it are made with thermoformed plastic wrap up with patent leather. The main part of the upper is made with a white smooth nappa, including an insert of metal mesh. The use of those materials really gives an industrial feeling and keeps it in accordance with the project.
